Smiling County

Hugh: what do you get when you cross Tavis Smiley, and the Ronnie Earle's indictment of Tom Delay? You get the Smiling Travis County Democratic Smear Machine with Dan Rather and his(HBM) Has Been Media and (WBAM) Wanna Be Again Media as its spokesperson being Delayed because Mary Mapes is being held hostage at a Kinkos run by Tavis the former talk show guy! John D's Kerry On

Deer in the headlights Johnnie Fool-not so Bright Carry On(Kerry): Hey Senator not so smart Carry On how about becoming a checker! Logan International Airport baggage service needs YOU! Why can't you keep your negative and simplistic views on your President and on my President to yourself. Your speech regarding the Katrina Hurricane was D and F grade material! At least your are consistent with your academic record at Yale. Your insults remind me of Drive By Shootings except the bullets you use are verbal slanders and the gang your belong to is the Party of the Liberal Democrats and you are their donkey mascot. You are such a phony and I thank the Good Lord everyday that you could not beat President Bush, the man you called an "Idiot" per Newsweek! Oh maybe Newsweek made a mistake as they are prone to do. Isn't it funny that with the Mainstream Media in your camp you still could not beat the President. You claim it was close, well isn't that the story of your life! You are a phony and a lousy student 5D's at Yale! Ha Ha! Have fun living off of rich women and the US Tax payor! Your initials should be changed to John D. Kerry in honor of your grades! Oh yes I always wanted to compliment you on your ski picture with the smiley face/sunflower button... You and your party Lost and therefore we don not care what you people thing. You are such a LOSER! My family and I are real JFK Democrat, as in Jack Kennedy a true Navy stud!
Francis X. Yubero, M.D.
Hey S.O.S.(Stuck on Stupid) Sign form 180 if you're really such a Hero! The Globe and Krannish your Boston Globe biographer and his editing of your record fools nobody...."what isn't in the record?" is the real question that the Lie to the Press host and former Mario Cumo aid Tim Russert should have asked!

Senator Hairy get Real

Knucklehead Searchlight Gaslamp Senator took your suggestion from the show the other day when you suggested that Schumer continue with "Amigos" issue. He is on the senate Floor and indignant over the Amigos insensitivity he attributes to Chief Justice Roberts. I guess Senator Hairy Real is your Amigo Hugh Hewitt as he is trying to make hay with something you thought could have some mileage even though its stupid and petty. Just to set the record straight as a Spanish American I'm not offended by the use of the Spanish word for Friend by the Chief or anyone. As matter of fact I think its Urbane to do so! Have a great show Amigo!

Beaky Buzzards and the Judiciary committee of the United States Senate

The almost tenured members of the Judiciary Committee Kennedy, Biden, Lahey, Schumer, Kohl, Feinstein et. al. remind me of a hybrid of Warner Brothers Beaky Buzzards and Foghorn Leghorn perched on their choir seats looking down their beaks at Judge John Roberts. The telegenic and appealing Judge Roberts is a an attractive Egghead Jr. and has the intellectual athleticism of a Michael Jordan. These Judiciary Liberal Senators are hapless and are so flatfooted while trying to joust with Roberts' Steel Trap legal mind, his polished smile and smooth and unflappable delivery! Joe Biden is the loud mouth Foghorn Leghorn of these Liberals who are junior varsity intellects in comparison to Judge Roberts. In closing I'd like to say Thank You to The Honorable John Roberts, for his eloquent and dignified performance before these Beaky Buzzards and congratulations on your appointment and elevation to Chief Justice of the of the United States! Godspeed your Honor, Francis X. Yubero, M.D.

Judge Roberts goes to Washington

Hugh: Hi there! Thanks for taking my call...What I really wanted to say on air was that after every storm there is a glorious Sunrise and John Roberts is that Sunrise after the devastation of Katrina on the Gold Coast. He is the embodiment of that metaphor and is having that kind of an impact on the Senate Confirmation hearings. The Schumer Biden Lahey gang are like Vampires shunning the Rays of Sun because of the rays purity and its effect on their skin and souls! He is so humble as he voices his solid and straight forward answers. He has a cinema like charm that just jumps off the television. Tell Schumer to give up the ghost of Senator McCarthy and McCarthyism. I'm reminded of the movie Mr. Smith goes to Washington. This Man Roberts is Luminescent like a 1000 watt ballpark bulb. He is humble and modest in his tone but his words are resounding because of their wisdom and intelligence. Goodness oozes from this telegenic and articulate man. Judge Roberts' story is Reaganesque in an inside out sort of way as his drama is a real life "Mr. Smith goes to Washington"! Its so striking to see the humility of Judge Roberts as he faces the vitriol of the Left which mirrors the humility of President Bush as he takes responsibility for the weak and incompetent governmental response in NOLA when in all reality the blame belongs to the local and state government and not the
federal. What a contrast these two good men demonstrate in stark contrast to the snarling democrats and left leaning "Has Been" media!

Generosity of the Longhorns and that of the Blues

Why hasn't anyone in the media made the point that the largesse of President George Bush mirrors that of Texas, as witnessed by their condutct in the aftermath of the Katrina disaster. Texans are BIG generous and brave people and our President was cultivated by the Spirit of Texas? Well "If MSM said nice things about Texas, they'd be saying nice things about W. So they won't." Major Garret's story echoes that of your friend Dr. Garvey!  It's a shame that the MSM will not give Texans thier much deserved praise.  Here's a Texas Magazine that promotes Philanthropy.  Texans are great!
http://www.episd.org/Community/fund/pithof_magazine_gala.html Here's a ranking of generosity per state, Mississippi is the most generous and Texas is # 13. Ma, NJ, Ct and Rode Island are at the bottom
Cheers, Francis

Texans and Heroes

Hugh:   I'm in complete agreement with you about Texas and it Exemplary Samaritanism.  I blogged on this yesterday @ www.powdertracks.blogspot.com.  My main point was that President Bush is a son of Texas and largesse is mirrored by his fellow Texans. Our President is a son of Texas and he came of age as a leader in the land of this Great State and former Republic.  Texas is also home to the Texas Rangers the precursor to the military special ops of the United States of America.
Francis X. Yubero, M.D.

The Lone Star Heroes

Everything is big in the Lone Star State of Texas! For 9 years this great state was a Republic and when it became the 28Th state of the Union in 1845 this historic flag was adopted9below). As with the flag of the United States, the blue stands for loyalty, the white represents strength, and the red is for bravery. Why hasn't anyone made the connection that Texas, big in generosity and heart, and which has stepped up to the plate in a more impressive way than any other group of people to help the Katrina Ravaged Louisianans is also the state from where President Bush comes from and where his Ranger's Courage and Lone Star Empathy was nurtured. Our Commander in Chief is a son of Texas, the state that gave us the U.S. Texas Ranger Division, more commonly known as the Texas Rangers, which is the oldest law enforcement agency in North America with statewide jurisdiction. The Texas Rangers have investigated crimes ranging from murder to political corruption, kept the peace during riots, protected the Texas governor, tracked down fugitives, and functioned as a quasi-military force. During Texas' fight for independence from Mexico, the Rangers served as scouts and couriers. After independence was gained and the land became the Republic of Texas the Rangers were the brave men that protected settlers. Throughout the years of the Republic, the Texas Rangers the frontier safe from Mexican invasion and attacks from Indians. That independent and courageous attitude of Texans and their resilent spirit is immortalized in the American adage "Remember the Alamo" and is echoed today in the People of Texas and in our President. President George W. Bush. He was the very successful two term Governor of the great state of Texas before he rode into Washington on a Stallion and took on Al Qaeda. He reached out to the Governor of Louisiana before Katrina hit and asked her to call for a state of emergency so the Feds could help but she said no! His administration and the US Military are now in charge and NOLA and the rest of the Sunbelt states of Mississippi and Alabama will recover. An area of 90,000 square miles or the size of the United Kingdom has been devastated, and bringing it under control after being KO'ed by Katrina is no small task. Like his fellow Texans, President Bush has been out among the victims of the Hurricane consoling them and sending Federal Help.

It's true everything in Texas is big, for even the rain drops in Texas are bigger, just like I was told when I arrived in Houston in the fall of 1992. I had the great opportunity to train at the University of Texas Health Science Center on the campus of the Texas Medical Center about a mile away from the Astrodome which is home to thousands of displaced NOLA hurricane survivors. This Medical Center is an impressive campus which houses 10,000 hospital beds, two medical schools and a score of hospitals. It is one of the most important and impressive centers of medical research and health-care delivery in the WORLD. Texas is an impressive place and the people are incredible! Just look at what these big hearted Texans are doing for the Katrina Victims at the State and at the Federal Level. I think the history books of Louisiana will someday make the Texas cry their own and change nothing but one word "Remember the TEXANS"! Don't "mis-underestimate Texas nor the Texans like I did before I was welcomed their as a Doctor in training!
Texas as a Republic. 1836-1845
During nearly ten years of independence, the Texas republic endured epidemics, financial crises and still-volatile clashes with Mexico. But it was during this period that unique accents of the Texas heritage germinated. Texas became the birthplace of the American cowboy; Texas Rangers were the first to use Sam Colt's remarkable six-shooters; Sam Houston became an American ideal of rugged individualism. Texas joined the United States on December 29, 1845. The red, white and blue Texas state flag with its lone star (the same flag adopted by the republic in 1839) today flies virtually everywhere: on government buildings, schools, banks, shopping malls, and even on oil derricks.

What happened to the NOLA Plan?

On the Sunday News Shows, the Talking head shows the Alphaphet Networks were thrilled as they sense the President has a breach in his Presidential "Levee" and is vulnerable. Michael Barone has a great post on this issue: http:usnews.com/usnews/opinion/baroneblog/home.htm The Levees that gave away were the ones that were reinforced by the Bush administration! Bloggers need to hit this issue as the MSM liars including Russert and especially Lardball are Lying by ommission! When Jefferson Parish President was asked about why busses weren't used to evacuate the "poor people without cars" he started crying croc tears over the Sheriff's mother who drowned after waiting for the her sheriff son to pick her up! Also check out the NOAA satellite photos from Junkyard Blog regarding NOLA's Mayor Nagin's and Gov Blanco's hanging chads with the school buses www.junkyardblog.net/archives/week_2005_08_28.html#004752

"Katrina's threat was so acute that President Bush joined the chorus of officials who urged New Orleans Mayor C. Ray Nagin and Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco to order a mandatory evacuation, issued Sunday morning after lower-lying areas outside the city were cleared Saturday. Bush declared a state of emergency for the area threatened by the storm, which clears the way for federal assistance, including a small fleet of much-needed boats."

www.tinyurl.com/dgk63 and CNN confirms this

It was Bush that asked the Gov and Mayor to order a mandatory evacuation, NOT their idea at all.

John Please feel free to post on your blog if you think this informative....as i still can't get onto my blog...
I would like the Center Right Talk Show Powerhouses like Hugh Hewitt et al inform the public on this raw deal the President is getting!
The safe evacuation of threatened populations when endangered by a major catastrophic event is one of the principle reasons for developing a Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan. The thorough identification of at-risk populations, transportation and sheltering resources, evacuation routes and potential bottlenecks and choke points, and the establishment of the management team that will coordinate not only the evacuation but which will monitor and direct the sheltering and return of affected populations, are the primary tasks of evacuation planning. Due to the geography of New Orleans and the varying scales of potential disasters and their resulting emergency evacuations, different plans are in place for small-scale evacuations and for citywide relocations of whole populations.

The Mayor of New Orleans had the example of New York's former Mayor Rudy G. who was not a federal official but a local one. Mayor Rudy didn't have the heads up that Mayor Nagin had. Check out the Plan "Authority to issue evacuations of elements of the population is vested in the Mayor. By Executive Order, the chief elected official, the Mayor of the City of New Orleans, has the authority to order the evacuation of residents threatened by an approaching hurricane.

Evacuation procedures for special needs persons with either physical or mental handicaps, including registration of disabled persons, is covered in the SOP for Evacuation of Special Needs" Persons.http://www.cityofno.com/portal.aspx?portal=46&tabid=26

Requeim For Rehnquist , A Good Law Clerk to God our Ultimate Judge

Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist has gone to meet his MAKER!

This Brave Judge carried his Cross of Cancer with immense dignity.courage and grace
along his Via Dolorosa until the very end! It obvious to me that the Judge
built his House on the "Rock"!!
Matthew 7:24-29

"Everyone then who hears these
words of mine and does them will be like a wise man
who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell,
and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on
that house, but it did not fall, because it had been
founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these
words of mine and does not do them will be like a
foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the
rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and
beat against that house, and it fell, and great was
the fall of it." I think he will hear the words from
our Lord "Well done, thou good and faithful servant.....enter
thou into the joy of thy lord!(Matt 25:21). President Bush in Honor of this
Brave and Great Judge needs to replace him with a Person who will Honor his great
Legacy...

Its obvious that the Judge was no fool who heeded the wise and Holy Words of Our Lord and he did not build in a ridiculous sandy and marshy place like the French
did in New Orleans...

It's seems that Our Lord a trained Carpenter was a better Urban Planner 2000 years ago than the French, who founded the city of New Orleans in the 1700's, and our current American Politicians and Engineers. May you R.I.P your Honor! If Our Lord and Our God needs as assistant on Judgement Day you would be a great law clerk for the Celestial Court based on your exemplary tenure as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the great United States of America....
