So what is the Big Deal with the Pulitzer it is appropriate that the Non-Ordained high Priestest of the Washington Post gets Dana so prestigious "Journalism" Prize? The man for which it is named is Joe Pulitzer and his arch rival Willian Randolph Hearst were the ones who invented Yellow Journalism! Dana you are in the company you deserve! The adage Birds of a feather flock together applies to you Dana and I'm glad your yellow stunt is not flying with the American Public.

The Pulitzer is truly a Virus causing the disease of Yellow Journalism among the Ranks of PSR(Pulitzer Seeking Reporters) within the MYM(Mainstream Yellow Media). Reminds me of the H5N1 virus causing Bird flu found among the feral Flocks of Birds. This bug could kill us in a GFP(Global Flu Pandemic) and the Virus of Yellow Journalism could get Americans Killed and cost us the Victory on the World Wide War of Jihad(WWJ)
Thanks for reading and D.V.

Yellow Journalism definition from Wikipedia:
  • The term derived from the color comic strip character The Yellow Kid, who appeared in both these Pulitzer and Hearst newpapers. Mickey Dugan aka The Yellow Kid, was the lead character in Hogan's Alley, one of the first comic strips and the first to be printed in color in mass production or "syndicated". The Yellow Kid was a saw-toothed child with a goofy liberal like grin in a yellow Pajama-shirt (Heh-1st Pajama Media) who hung around in an alley filled with equally odd characters( CIA's Mary McCarthy, John Kerry, Barabara Boxer and Harry Reid?). The device of using word balloons(1st admendment SOURCES) to contain character dialogue in comic strips was used in The Yellow Kid, though the kid himself communicated through statements that appeared printed on his shirt. His language was a ragged, peculiar ghetto jargon("Free Speech") See also symbolism of yellow.)

From Pulitzer site:
  • During the years 1896 to 1898 Pulitzer was drawn into a bitter circulation battle with William Randolph Hearst's Journal in which there were no apparent restraints on sensationalism or fabrication of news. When the Cubans rebelled against Spanish rule, Pulitzer and Hearst sought to outdo each other in whipping up outrage against the Spanish. Both called for war against Spain after the U.S. battleship Maine mysteriously blew up and sank in Havana harbor on February 16, 1898. Congress reacted to the outcry with a war resolution. After the four-month war, Pulitzer withdrew from what had become known as "yellow journalism." The World became more restrained and served as the influential editorial voice on many issues of the Democratic Party. In the view of historians, Pulitzer's lapse into "yellow journalism" was outweighed by his public service achievements.
From Wikipedia
  • 'The sensationalized human-interest stories of the yellow press increased circulation and readership heavily throughout the 19th century, especially in the United States. Early practitioners, such as Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst, seem to have equated the sensational reporting of murders, gory accidents, and the like, with the need of the democratic common man to be entertained by subjects beyond dry politics. Two early yellow newspapers were Pulitzer's New York World and Hearst's New York Journal American.
