"Good Intentions" and the Iraq Study Group

"Good intentions" from my last post should have but it in quotes to signify I meant it to be tongue in cheek!  These "do gooders" are either clueless or much worse.  They make me think Cicero who said "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself."

These knuckleheads either willing or unwittingly are Al Qaeda's Fifth Column. The Fifth Column is a clandestine group or faction of subversive agents who attempt to undermine a nation's solidarity by any means at their disposal. The term is credited to Emilio Mola Vidal, a Nationalist general during the Spanish Civil War (1936–39). As four of his army columns moved on Madrid, the general referred to his militant supporters within the capital as his “fifth column!”
These fools will get us killed and destroy our Republic from Within more than from Without!

The only real knucklheads are people who think like you!!!!! Somehow you have now decided that everyone who doesn't believe like you do is a traitor. That is pretty much what you just said... so I guess you hate this country because almost nobody but right wing nutcase zealots believe like you do. Most people realize that democracy is directly tied to independent thinking, not to tyrannical demagogory. Apparently you want King George up there to tell us all how we should be thinking and want to send the secret police to insure we comply. Want a complete moral retard. You rank right up there with Islamic jihadists.
