Tony Snow and Elizabeth Edwards fight Cancer in our land aka "Two Americas"
Huffington Post commentators have expressed their prayers for Conservative Americans are truly sick:
Hasn't he had his "last throes" of chest pains yet? Posted by: Anonymous at June 24, 2005 10:28 PM

I wonder how many regular readers to this pathetic, self-important blog are hoping that Cheney comes out with a sheet over his head...?

His heart is listening to all the lies coming out of his mouth. It can't take much more of this drivel.

I wish the evil zombie would stop leaving his underground bunker. Surely, there's a medical ward where he lurks below the surface, near Washington, D.C.

You bet we losers want him dead. And I'm glad to be a loser. If I were a winner, I'd have to be around the kind of assholes who like Bush and Cheney.

"Last throes," does one suppose? Here's hoping.

You're all assuming he actually still has a heart. I don't think so.
I think it was replaced by a teflon pump a long time ago. Therefore he can no longer feel any pain.

Actually, Eric, I was thinking more along the lines of a stake through his heart.

The very first comment at HuffPo that set tone:

Plenty more where that came from:

Well gosh (18+ / 0-) As long as Dick is "safely inside" we can all heave a huge sigh of relief. Big Time's safety is of utmost importance, of course. To hell with anyone else who died in order to save his pasty hide. My local news just lead with his safety…as if we were all waiting for that particular news. No, I thought of the young man I know is over there as a medic. I sure hope HE is safe. This time.Too bad. Had the lunatic succeeded, he would have been doing us a service. It didn't seem to bother Cheney much, though. He was actually smiling for photos a bit later on, despite the deaths of and injuries to those who fell in his stead...
…
should have called [the post] (2+ / 0-)
damn, they missed!

So unnecessary (0 / 0)
Cheney must know that he is a magnet for attack. Unfortunately, other people (U.S. troops and Afghanis) are the collateral damage.
He should go to a permanent undisclosed location, preferably one with iron bars that allows one hour per day of exercise or interaction with others. The other 23 hours should be in solitary confinement so he will have time to think about the death and destruction he's created.
…
Good point (13+ / 0-)
I want him to rot in jail not die in a way that could in any way be construed as bravery, honor or decency.

23. Thank God Cheney was fine. I couldn't deal with it if that man was made a martyr. |

I'm planning to take a shit on his grave when he's gone.

From Hot Air on President Bush 41,
Former President George Bush was hospitalized for dehydration after he collapsed during a golf game on Sunday. He was released earlier today.
Former President George H.W. Bush was treated at a California hospital for dehydration and released Monday morning after collapsing during a Sunday afternoon golf game in Palm Springs. The B41DS crowd is going wild with Bush death wishes at The Huffington Post. Good thing HuffPost has a comment disclaimer distancing them from their hate-filled readers.
Jean Becker, Bush's chief of staff, told The Associated Press that Bush fainted while playing golf with friends in 94-degree heat.
"He's fine, he really is fine," Becker said. "He became dehydrated, and he had a fainting spell. He came to right away, but as a precaution, they took him to the hospital and then _ much to his dismay _ as a precaution, they held him overnight. The doctors released him first thing this morning."
Update: Here are some compassionate, caring comments HuffPosters have left for the former President:
If he dies, I get a day off. National holiday. Bush should see how it feels to lose a loved one. Fuck 'em both!

Let's hope he didn't puke on anyone's shoes…
Do you think he ever wakes up deep in the night in a cold sweat because of all the Central American people he and the drooler killed?
Do you think he washes his hands hundreds of time each day trying to erase the blood of women and children?
Do you think there is a special place in hell for this butcher?

It's not like he was helping former President Carter with building a house for those folks down in New Orleans or anywhere on the Gulf Coast where Katrina hit. Instead he was playing rich man's game of golf. No sympathy here…only fodder.

Now more love letters from the Left to Tony Snow before his surgery
From Hot Air
When Presidential Wannabe John Edwards speaks of "2 Americas" I know what he means but I think his definition was different than the one I have come to witness and know. Man's inhumanity to Man will always be present but in America this ugly boil on the Left is unnecessary. However, Liberal America's Base Hates you if you do not agree with them. Sadly it is just that simple.... Conservatives have Ann Coulter who shoots off her mouth. She knows better but her worst comments are tame and lame in comparison. Rush Limbaugh is a Class act in comparison too but the Left will point to him as a Hater. I've listened to him and he has been very respectful and compassionate with the John and Elizabeth Edwards tragedy. The poor lady has about a 10% chance of surviving the awful stage IV Breast Cancer over the next 5 years.
- Stage III - The tumor mass is larger than five centimeters in diameter, or there are positive lymph nodes, which are fixed to other tissue. The lymph nodes may be adherent to one another or to the underlying muscle or overlying skin. The five-year survival rate is about 40%. (T04, N03, M0 excluding those combinations listed above.)
Stage IV - The tumor is fixed to the skin or chest wall, or there is lymph node spread above the collar bone, or there are distant metastases already present. The five-year survival rate is less than 10%.

Senator John Edwards implied on Meet the Press that his thinking was clouded by his wife's illness and that was one of the reasons he voted for the Iraq War. His wife's cancer is worse now...
- MR. RUSSERT: Let me bring you back to October 10th of 2004. You were running for vice president, a few weeks before the election...
SEN. EDWARDS: Yes.
MR. RUSSERT: ...you were on this program. The war...
SEN. EDWARDS: I remember.
MR. RUSSERT: The war is now a year and a half old, and I asked you about your vote. Let’s watch.
SEN. EDWARDS: Sure.
(Videotape, October 10, 2004)
MR. RUSSERT: If you knew today, and you do know, there is—there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, would you still vote to go to war with Iraq?
SEN. EDWARDS: I would have voted for the resolution, knowing what I know today, because it was the right thing to do to give the president the authority to confront Saddam Hussein.
I think Saddam Hussein was a very serious threat. I stand by that, and that’s why we stand behind our vote on the resolution.
(End of videotape)
MR. RUSSERT: That’s a year and a half into the war.
SEN. EDWARDS: Mm-hmm. Perfect—that’s a very fair question. I can tell you what happened with me, personally. We got through—I was—at that point, I was in the middle of a very intense campaign, one that I thought was very important for America. When the campaign was over and the election was over, we had a lot going on in my own family. Elizabeth had been diagnosed with breast cancer, we were taking care of her. And for the first time I had time to really think about, number one, what I was going to spend my time doing, and, number two, my vote for this war. And over time, when I reflected on what I thought was going to be necessary going forward, to have some moral foundation to work on issues like poverty and genocide, things that I care deeply about, I could no longer defend this vote. It was pretty simple. And I got to the place I felt like I had to say it and had to say it publicly. And so—what?--a year—a year or so ago I did that.
Indeed my best wishes and prayers go out to the Edwards and their young children. I do not agree with their Politics but Compassion is the first emotion that entered my heart and I am about as Conservative as one can be. Sorry to say this but John Edwards, the America of your constituents is that of the "Ugly America" and indeed we are divided into 2 Americas. Not the two you complain about but the one I have described.
Jihad goes on and our enemies clap their hands when they witness America's weakness rooted among other things America's hateful divisiveness. Ironic that they will conquer or destroy America thru our courts and because the Left were their unwitting accomplises. Liberal Officials like throwback John Kerry and relative new comer Nancy Pelosi, and others of their ilk cooperated with Genaral Vo Nguyen Giap of Vietnam to help us lose that war. Again it will be feckless leadership like Nancy P's and her cohorts and it'll be this cancer of hate by the left that will give them a foothold to hurst us bad. Where will Gays, Abortionists, Jounalist and Woman find refuge then. Nancy will not be their for she'll be headless. Go ahead Liberals cut off your nose to spite your face and keep hating fellow Americans like me who love God first and country second and claim that I and others like me are your enemy. Jihad and that Ideology is your enemy just read here what they are doing to nonmuslims in Darfur Sudan...
I continue to offer prayers for Liberal John Edwards, his wife and children may God's Speed manifest itself in their lives and I do for the same for Conservative Tony Snow and his family...this is so sad especially for their children.
To the other America, I guess all these examples, observations and prayers are Hateful right? God help us all!....
