Imad Mugniyad or Mughniyeh's rap sheet of crimes against Citizens of the World is vast and chilling.  He is the Godfather of Jihadoterrorism reminiscent of Michael Corleone's killing spree of the Don's Mario Puzo's famous fictional account of the Italian Mafia in America.  There is no doubt that had this Jack the Ripper of Lebanon been the leader of a Country his crimes against humanity would have rivaled those of Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin, or China's Mao!  It can be said that the "Eulogy" that follows below by Terry Anderson, the American Associated Press Chief Mideast Correspondent who was held as Imad Mugniyad's captive for 6 years it is so very fitting if understated as I would chime in and say "Live by the Car Bomb die by the Car Bomb"!:

• Mughniyeh was born on Dec. 7, 1962 in the south Lebanon village of Tair Debba.
• He joined the nascent Hezbollah in the early 1980s and formed a militant cell known as Islamic Jihad or Islamic Holy War. The cell was said to be Hezbollah's strike arm, but the group denies any link to it.
• Accused of masterminding the first major suicide bombing to target Americans: the April 1983 car bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut that killed 63 people, including 17 Americans.
• Blamed for the devastating suicide truck bomb at the barracks of French and U.S. peacekeeping forces in Beirut, killing 59 French paratroopers and 241 American Marines.
• Indicted in the United States for the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847, during which Shiite militants shot Navy diver Robert Stethem, who was a passenger on the plane, and dumped his body on the tarmac of Beirut airport. The hijacking produced one of the most iconic images of pre-9/11 terrorism: a photo of the 727's pilot leaning out the cockpit window with a gunman waving a pistol in front of his face.
• In the 1980s Mughniyeh was also believed to have directed a string of kidnappings of Americans and other foreigners in Lebanon. The hostages included The Associated Press's chief Mideast correspondent Terry Anderson, who was held for more than six years until his release in 1991; and CIA station chief William Buckley, who was tortured by his captors and killed in 1985.

• Mughniyeh's trail of terror was believed to continue into the 1990s.
• Israel accused Mughniyeh of involvement in the 1992 bombing of its embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina in which 29 people were killed.
• Argentine special prosecutor Alberto Nisman also accused Mughniyeh in the 1994 bombing of a Buenos Aires Jewish center, an attack which killed 85 people. Prosecutors said Iranian officials orchestrated the attack and entrusted Hezbollah to carry it out.
• The Khobar Towers bombing came two years later. Faris bin Hizam, a Saudi journalist who closely follows Islamic groups, said Mughniyeh flew to the kingdom days before the bombing and met the group that carried out the attack.
• Mughniyeh spent his final years moving between Lebanon, Iran, Syria and Turkey, and used as many as 47 different forged passports, bin Hizam said.
• His last public appearance was believed to be at the funeral of his brother Fuad, who was killed in 1994 by a booby-trapped car in Beirut. In 2006, Mughniyeh was reported to have met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Syria.
• Mughniyeh's body was brought to south Beirut in the afternoon and was laid in a refrigerated coffin, wrapped in Hezbollah's yellow flag.

• Born in the Lebanese city of Tyre in 1952, Mughniyeh did not attract attention until 1976, when he joined Force 17 as a sniper targeting Christians on the Green Line dividing West and East Beirut.
• Mughniyeh, who is believed to have been behind the abduction of the two IDF soldiers on July 12, is also reported to be in charge of Hizbullah's rocket unit in south Lebanon. The unit has fired more than 1,600 rockets at Israel during the current violence.
• Imad Mughniyeh, a former officer in Arafat's Force 17 presidential guard who has been in charge of Hizbullah's military operations in south Lebanon for the past decade.
• "Imad Mughniyeh is the overall commander of the Islamic Resistance [Hizbullah's armed wing] in southern Lebanon," said a Fatah official who said he knew Mughniyeh well during the '70s and '80s.

Imad Mughniyeh, the military leader of Hezbollah described as the 'bin Laden of the 1980s', has been killed in a car bomb in Damascus.

A statement by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah said that Mughniyeh - one of the most wanted terrorists in the world, linked to a string of attacks in which hundreds died - had been killed by Israeli agents.

"With all pride we declare a great Jihadist leader of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon joining the martyrs ... The brother commander hajj Imad Mughinyeh became a martyr at the hands of the Zionist Israelis," said a statement carried on Hezbollah's television.

Mughniyeh, 45, led the Islamic Jihad organisation - one of several shadowy terror groups that operated under the Hezbollah umbrella which kidnapped at least 40 Westerners in Lebanon, among them Terry Waite, the Archbishop of Canterbury's envoy, and John McCarthy, a British journalist

Bill Bennett had Senator Coburn on his show opening the second hour. Coburn has endorsed McCain is the strongest and most persuasive terms. In fact Coburn will introduce him at Cpac. He basically says that in hindsight although he was mad about the Gang of 14 it was the right thing to do to get Brown, Alito. He claims from Bork to Brown, McCain as been with the GOP. He claims that McCain was right about corruption in DC but McCain-Fools-gold was the wrong solution. He claims that on Amnesty he has learned is lesson. He claims that in a Fox hole you wanna be with the guy who is with you know is with you 80% of the time and said that presents McCain rather than the guy who says he is 100% of the time but is just talk(he did not mention any names). He claims Dobson is great but he does not agree with him on the Protection of Marriage issue and should be left up to the States and not the Federal Amendment level like Dobson wants. He claims that McCain is the one force in DC that changes the hardest things because he is an unrelenting fighter. He says that the "vitriol" from conservative talk radio is hurting the Conservative Movement and needs to stop. Basically it was a resounding endorsement by a very conservative Senator Coburn! However he did not mention McCain's Embryonic Stem Cell support, McCain's flip flop on the Law of the Sea Treaty, Kerry VP flirtation, Keating 5, Vote against permanent tax cuts, initial leaning to support the Fairness Doctrine(which will destroy Talk Radio and our Free Speech Rights giving a monopoly to the Mainstream Media which is portrayed as non-partisan and non-political), Global Warming belief......

My take, McCain like I have said before and the McCain Machiavelli Triangulation of MSM, Independents, Hispanics, Inside Beltway types,has aligned with the Constellation of Stars in the Sky and his time has come to lead the GOP but it'll be a PYRRHIC VICTORY for him and the GOP. McCain will get creamed in the General by Obama if he gets the nod and by Clinton but by a lesser beating if she gets the node, as the Dems are out Primarying the GOP 2 to 1! The Dems are energized and the GOP is not and it is time for a Dem in the White House per the American Electorate. Huckabee will be McCain's VP because of his strength in the Bible Belt but it will not help and thus will not matter.

We have entered the McCain version of the Rockefeller/Ford/Dole era of an Impotent GOP! Like Global Warming which is cyclical so is Conservatism and we have cycled into the Conservative light Era of GOP-ism. The Electoral Will of the GOP is anemic too otherwise Romney would have won and sorry but Romney, who is valiant fighter does not have the Reagan Mystic needed to lead. Obama has the JFK Mystic which is dangerous because JFK was a Politcal Saint compared to Obama.

McCain Flips and Flops on the Law of the Sea Treaty

McCain claims Gov. Romney is a flip flopper but what about him as he tries to please the GOP Base. Case in Point is the Law of the Sea Treaty!

Mr. McCain's support for the sea treaty stretched back to the 1990s, when he signed a letter with three other senators urging its passage, and continued through 2003, when he was scheduled to testify on its behalf before a Senate committee.

But after the rest of the Republican presidential field took a stand against the treaty this month, Mr. McCain had little choice but to change, conservatives said.

 

What is The Law of the Sea Treaty?  Why is it important?  It erodes our Sovereignty and makes us bow to the United Nations which is ANTI-USA and run by a group of Leaders who come from Failed Country States and are in League with China, Russia, and Islamic States will the World's Jihadoterrorists come from!  Definition of the Law of the Sea Treaty!

The measure, which creates an independent source of revenue for the United Nations, is now pending in the Senate, of which McCain is a member. This is not an obscure or irrelevant issue for him. He could have a big impact on the fate of this treaty, which he has described as providing "a comprehensive regime of law and order in the world's oceans and seas" and serving "as an umbrella convention under which rules governing all uses of the oceans and their resources are established."

The treaty creates three new international institutions—the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, the International Seabed Authority, and the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf. U.S. companies would pay taxes or "fees" for access to oil, gas and minerals. But such access would be determined by the treaty organizations, not the weakened U.S. Navy. Testimony shows that it could also affect economic and industrial activities on land.

McCain swings both ways on Pro-Life Issue Against Abortion and For Embryonic Stem Cell Research

The Fact that Senator McCain is Pro Embryonic Stem Cell Research and Against Abortion is precisely why he is "Suspect" for the GOP Reagan Conservatism and add to this that he considered being the Democrat Vice President for John Kerry when President Dubya Bush was running for his 2nd term!

Republican Presidental candidate John McCain has long supported embryonic stem cell research, but he's under pressure from religious conservatives to drop that support in favor of unproven stem cell techniques.

Lifenews.com reports that Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas), an outspoken opponent of embryonic stem cell (ESC) research, has asked McCain to abandon his ESC support.

Harvesting ESCs involves the destruction of several-day-old human embryos, a process that Brownback and other religious conservatives consider to be murder.

While McCain doesn't approve of making cloned embryos to generate the potentially disease-curing cells, he's voted to fund research on stem cells made from embryos that would otherwise be discarded during assisted reproduction.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain has taken a pro-life position on abortion, but his views on embryonic stem cell research are a cause for concern among many pro-life advocates. The Arizona senator defended his position in support of the destructive research at a Florida campaign stop.

McCain said he continues to support forcing taxpayers to fund the research, which involves the destruction of human life and has never helped patients, but called his support for it "a very agonizing and tough decision."

"All I can say to you is that I went back and forth, back and forth on it and I came in on one of the toughest decisions I've ever had, in favor of that research," he said, according to a Catholic News Agency report.

"And one reason being very frankly is those embryos will be either discarded or kept in permanent frozen status," he explained.

"I understand how divisive this is among the pro-life community," McCain added.

According to CNA, he explained how he hopes that the science will advance to the point that embryonic stem cell research is unnecessary.

Pro-life advocates believe that day has already come.

Former Senator Hightower and the Hispanic vote give insight to Pro-Amnesty McCain

John McCain's connection to former Texas Senator to John Hightower is revealing regarding for the Amnesty issue and who was a mentor of his is interesting.  Hightower is the first GOP Politician to go after the Hispanic vote and higher Hispanic Ad Man Lionel Sosa(see Time below) who Ronald Reagan hired and later Dubya following the Reagan strategy hired to get the Hispanic Vote as well.  McCain "was influenced to go into politics by senators of both parties, and especially by a strong bond with Republican Senator John Tower of Texas, ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.^[55} From Wikipedia^"

Some of these leaders, most notably Tower, would leave a lasting influence on McCain.

Tower, R-Texas, would serve in the Senate until 1985. Later, he ran the panel that investigated the Iran-Contra scandal. (It became known as the Tower Commission.) After that, President George H.W. Bush nominated Tower for Defense secretary, but the Democrat-controlled Senate blocked him partly over character concerns about his womanizing and drinking. He died in a 1991 plane crash.

Tower held Lyndon Johnson's old Senate seat. He had served in the Navy, been solidly pro-Vietnam War and was the top Republican on the Armed Services Committee.

McCain and Tower became pals, probably an unprecedented relationship for a senator and a Navy liaison.

James Jones, a Marine who served under McCain during this period, told author Timberg: "He was very much loved by John Tower. I think that John McCain is the son that John Tower never had."

For his part, McCain remembered that Tower "loved good company, and that he thought me such is something I'm proud of."

"Tower knew my father well, and he knew of my grandfather," McCain wrote in his 2002 memoir. "He respected my service in Vietnam. He was also, of course, a loyal Navy man, and whenever he traveled abroad officially, he would request that I serve as his escort. I traveled quite a lot with him, perhaps on as many as twenty trips, all around the world."

McCain was not the typical Navy liaison. His Capitol Hill office became a popular afternoon hangout. His friendship with Tower was deep

wwRRvf....Who would Ronald Reagan vote for?

While listening to Hugh Hewitt's show today a female caller into his show was vacillating between GOP Candidates Romney and Huckabee.  Her mind seemed to be telling her Romney but her heart seemed to be telling her Huckabee.  Hugh Hewitt not surprisingly advised her to contemplate over the weekend and make her decision.  I wondered what would help this sincere and conflicted caller and it came to me.....Who would the late great Ronald Reagan vote for?  Voile problem solved as that makes it easy.  Quickly I zinged a email to Mr. Hewitt and he ended his show with WWRRD....Who Would Ronald Reagan do....Romney or McCain? and posted it to his site which has gotten quite a few "Interesting" responses!  This dove tails so nicely with the Heritage Foundation's campaign of What Would Reagan Do?  So I'll use Ronald Reagan Logic and Principles to answer the question of Whom would Ronald Reagan vote for.

He added: "We need an army of 20 million Basiji. Such an army must be ready to live for God, to die along the way of God, and to conduct Jihad, in order to please God."

Case Closed Ronald Wilson Reagan would vote for Romney just as his conservative/born again Christian son Michael Reagan will.

Wake up America John McCain is no longer a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution and Ronald Reagan would not vote John McCain nor Mike Huckabee.  McC ain is a ROckerfellar Republican at best.  Save the Reagan Revolution and vote for Gov. Mitt Romney as McCain is only good on the War and Abortion but supports Embryonic Stem Cell Research(just ask Senator Brownback) and considered running on the John Kerry Democrat ticket as his Vice President! 

The late great President Reagan would say that John McCain has turned his back on the Reagan Revolution!
