As an American son of proud Naturalized Immigrants from Spain, I am thankful for my country. Although I love my heritage I'm so happy and blessed to have been born in America and love her even more. I am so grateful to live in a country where I can love and worship my God and Savior, have the opportunity to be what I want to be if I'm willing to do the work. I'm thankful because in America I am able to honor and fortunate to consider friends many of those who don't share my beliefs or politics. I'm free to live whereever I want to in this beautiful and vast land. Indeed I am hopeful that our beautiful daugther's future is as wide as the sky is blue because she is an American! This is the very same hope that kept my my mother and father (a Spanish Physician/Surgeon) in America! Whether you agree with the "War" or not, one thing I'm proud of is that Our Brave Military has given 50 million Muslims a CHANCE to cultivate the Freedon our forefathers won for us 222 years ago. Our BRAVE Military saved Britan, France and South Korea a generation ago. Japan, Germany and South Korea are great democracies today thanks to Our Military! The USSR has been tossed onto the "Ash Heap of History!" because of America, her strength, generosity and singlemindedness. For giving millions of foreigners a chance to Dream, blooming in this America of ours and for exporting to many corners of the World the Gift of Liberty by sacrificing the priceless cost our soldiers' blood, I'm proud to be a American!

Monsieur J'aime Al Qaeda

Congressman John Murtha should be dubbed "Monsieur J'aime Al Qaeda"(Mr. I like Al Qaeda in honor of his mentor "Monsieur J'aime Berlin" (Mr. I like Berlin)-Neville Chamberlain. Murtha is either brain dead, or as a decorated soldier, he is one of the most unlikely apologist for a former Chancellor of the Exchequer who went on to become Prime Minister of England. Neville Chamberlain who championed the concept of appeasement has a new disciple of his disastrous School of Foreign Policy which has now infected the Body Politic of the United States. Murtha's unenlightened speech which begins:

• "The war in Iraq is not going as advertised. It is a flawed policy wrapped in illusion. The American public is way ahead of us."

echos the spirit of Chamberlain's speech after signing the 1938 Munich Pact with Herr Hitler :

• "My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honor. I believe it is peace for our time."

The X-Soldier/Congressman's speech makes a complementary book end to Chamberlain's as one of the most naive and irresponsible speeches in history given by a leader in response to Fascism. Not since the former Chancellor of the Exchequer Chamberlain advocated isolationism, defeatism and appeasement by handing over Czechoslovakia in the Pact he signed with Herr Hitler has a leader publicly made such a gross miscalculation about Fascism. The similarities between the Bin Laden/al Zarqawi Islamofacist movement and the Hitler/Goebles Nazi Fascist movement are striking. Lets hope the conservatives muster up the courageous steel of Churchill and Roosevelt before the entire world is engulfed by the flames of a Global Western-Islamic conflict like the ones we witnessed last week with the French in the land of "Liberty, Equality and Fraternity!"

In medicine a "Purple Heart" is one that has stopped beating, becomes an anoxic purple/bluish color heralding the need for CPR. When a heart stops beating the brain is not getting oxygen. Obviously this man is suffering from anoxia and slipping into a delusion caused by Hypercapnia and Respiratory Acidosis.

The War in Iraq has been very successful when you consider that the Iraqi and Afghani people are following in the footsteps of former enemies Japan and Germany having ratified constitutions in their march toward democracy.

Every American casualty is devastating but in Iraq's Operation Iraqi Freedom, the numbers are relatively small using history as a standard and comparing it to those in all US Wars. We lost more soldiers on D-day and more Americans on 911 than we have in 4 years of war against Al Qaeda and 2 1/2 years of war in Iraq.

It would be a grave mistake to follow John "Chamberlain" Murtha's advice which is a virtual copy of the Blueprint cemented in the annals of historical blunders. Chamberlain, the Prime Minister, abandoned Czechoslovakia with his endorsement of appeasement ensconced in the Munich "Betrayal" Pact .

• Question: Did the capitulation of Czechoslovakia satisfy Adolph Hitler?
  
• Answer: World World II ....50-60 million direct and indirect deaths
  
• Chamberlain played right into Hitler's plan!

• Murtha plays right into the hands of Bin Laden....

To follow Murtha's vision would mean abandoning Iraq, Afghanistan, millions of Muslims, putting our nation and way of life on the road headed towards the "Ash heap of history." Ronald Reagan and Margret Thatcher would not have flinched but would have realized how ominous this Islamofascist threat is, fought it just like George W. Bush has! Reagan, Thatcher, and W. Bush are leaders/visionaries whose beating Purple Hearts are not made of Bronze but STEEL! These heads of state are warriors who recognized the human passion for freedom that lives in the Purple Hearts of all human beings and had the courage of their convictions and vision to stoke those embers by risking the blood of our voluntary and Brave Soldiers. Like Cicero said "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious" but

Dante's Abyss

Annapolis Naval Academy Professor and Doctor of Literature David Allen White's evaluation of the the Republican Senate Leadership's Coup of the Bush Administration Global War on Terror and Hugh Hewitt's reference to their betrayal was Brilliant! The use of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy and the description of the Seventh Level of Hell as the appropriate place of exile for Senators Frist, Allen, McConnell, Warner and others was powerful. Actually there are 9 levels of Hell or Circles with further subdivisions in each. Within the 9th Circle is a sub-level known as Central zone 4 or the Judecca holding the Traitors. Traitors to their Lords and Benefactors. No doubt that this is the worst section of Hell, containing Satan, who is eternally consuming the bodies of Brutus and Cassius for assassinating Julius Caesar, and the head of Judas Iscariot, for whom this place is named because of his betrayal of Jesus. The thought of these Senators being sucked up like a piece of living linguine through the Triple Headed frostbitten lips of Lucifer reminds me of a scene from a 1950's Japanese Godzillaesques Movie and is so gruesome and horrifying.
The Divine Comedy, and John Milton's Paradise Lost are considered by scholars to be semi-inspired due to the transcendent nature of the literature. Dante's journey through the netherworld destinations is breathtaking? Dante recounts his sojourn through the three realms of the dead. His guide through Hell and Purgatory is the Latin poet Virgil, author of The Aeneid, and his guide through Paradise is Beatrice. She was his ideal of a perfect woman. and is named after a woman, whom he admired from afar.

Divinely Inspired Books are those that are accepted by an ecclesiastic community as authoritative and as bing inspired by the Holy Spirit. These books belong to the Cannon of the Bible(meaning Library) and are believed by church to be written through the intercession of the Holy Spirit by with the writer's cooperation. In Western Culture Canon law is the law of the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches. The Eastern Orthodox concept of canon law is similar to but not identical to the more legislative and juridical model of the West. In both traditions, a canon is a rule adopted by a council (From Greek kanon / κανών, for rule, standard, or measure); these canons formed the foundation of canon law.

The only possible way one can contribute to this lofty discussion by two giants in the Blogosphere, Airwaves and Academia is to cite the Byblos itself. Jesus' parable in Matthew 25:14-30 about the talents the Master gives his servants is analgous to the Republicans "Playing Mice" while the President is on his trip. During the time of Christ, a talent was a very large amount of money. Sixty minas made up one talent and a mina equaled one hundred dinerii. During the time of Our Lord a worker earned one hundred diarius a day. Jesus was speaking with dramatic flair to his audience as he knew they would realize that each of the servants had been entrusted with a huge sum of money. This money if well invested could yield a tremendous windfall! These Spiritual coins or gifts are entrusted to us doing our own Earthly sojourn are the to be sowed for the good of our souls, the good of others and reaped for the Glory of God!
This Dvine Parable ends "You wicked, lazy servant!"...You wasted your opportunity. "Take the talent from him and give it to the one with ten......And throw this useless servant into the darkness outside, the Abyss, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth"!

President Bush's subordinates were not traitors but without a doubt their deeds emulate those of the bad servant.....Without a doubt this is not as gruesome as Dante's take on the pit of HELL but it is icy cold none the less. Its simple and clear eloquence inspires my soul with hope and warmth. Dante's depiction sends shivers throw my spine and to my very core. The two renditions of Hell dovetail in a poetic way.

You know, Dante's writings are almost Theological and Our Lords' are the perfection of Philosophy. Albert the Great the mentor of St. Thomas Aquinas has been attributed with the adage that "Philosphy is the handmaiden of Theology. In this example I think the converse is true for Our Lord's words are Divinely Inspired indeed. We would do well to adopt our Lord's Philosphy as our Own..... Look at the artist's map of Dante's Inferno and realize that its a Target. We Earthly Pilgrams should all try to aim at the target of "Il Paradiso"......

• Senator Hairy Reid is off in the deep end, could Kennedy the "Admiral of Chappaquiddick" throw him a life jacket before he strokes out.
  
• Chuck Schumer needs to have a make over so badly and the more excited he is over Rove the darker his Nixonian 5 o'clock shadow gets.
  
• And "I Second the motion" Dick Turbin just is not ready for prime time he sounds like Barney Fife of Mayberry RFD and in his excitement his eyes look like they're on a launching pad at Cape Canaveral.
  

These Three Democratic Simians are the antithesis of the Three Japanese Wise Monkeys that See no evil, Hear no evil and Speak no evil! In fact they are consumed by the Evil they believe exudes from the Bush Administration and all they See, Hear and Speak of is indeed that very same Evil they allege! Are the Senate and Congress like the Island of Dr. Moreau where the MSM is like the good Doctor who induces Xenotic Transformation or are they just overboard for the moment? Has the Artic National Wildlife Refuge caused the consertive Congressmen to suffer from hyperthernia induced Psychosis? Well if so, I suggest we transport them to ANWR for save keeping...

All of the No Solutionaries have their allies at the Tribunes of the World. Tell me, is Tribune Greek or Swahili for "Brainwashed Group Think Propaganda"? Its seems like these Tribune pundits are the equivalent of Stepford Spouses who all look, write, sound and think the same. No original ideas and sort of a chorus of Bush et al are Liars! I mean talk about a broken record mentality! They all spew the same story about the War Iraq and this Intelligence manipulation conspiracy theory stuff. I'm overdosed on this rhetoric and feel like I'm stuck in some Purgatorial Limbo like Convention with all the World's Elvis impersonators.

Tony Blankley so succinctly on Matthews' Screwball Show and Dennis Prager said that the National Intelligence Estimate leading up to the War was the final distillation of what all the Spooks around the world believed! Bush was proactive and moved on it. The No Solutionaries of the Democratic party and their marketing agents at the Tribunes say the NIE was wrong, hind sight is 20/20. Then again I'm not convinced that this Intelligence estimate was off the Mark. British intelligence hasn't backed off the alleged inaccuracies of the Niger incident leveled by the No Solutionaries. Furthermore, how is it that Jo Wilson and his band of cohorts, all Clintonistas, pass themselves off as the defacto intelligence arbiters, qualified to do an analysis of the Yellow Cake Niger Weapons of Mass Destruction threat? He's not an expert of anything except for self promotion, hucksterism and cell phone gymnastics(as he is always seen finger his cell's key pad)!

If Joe's wife is really a spook why is it that she is so spooked by Karl Rove when everybody on the DC cocktail circuit knew she was a CIA agent per Joe's own doing! The Tribunies and the No Solutionaries are so exercised by the Valerie Plame affair. Well one thing is for certain, Mrs. Joe Wilson is no Emma Peal ("The Avengers" ).

Well I would like to suggest that Joe Wilson be Banned from ever being an independent contractor for the CIA again. No more freelance/part-time Kelly Service work for Ban-Joe, who as a Federal Government Employee outed a CIA agent, his wife. Ban-Joe should be indicted for his crime committed while working for the Federal Government. He in effect took a bribe for the info after being paid for his Book and Vanity Fair Magazine cover and article. Ban-Joe's conduct is more than just "mean politics" it a particular species known in legalese as "Spousal Abuse. Could this be grounds for divorce? Valerie "Plame" your husband and not Karl Rove or the Vice President!

Now I'm more exercised over the "Tribunies" illegal outing of the CIA's covert charter jet service by the less than patriotic New York Times. Dana Priest's article is an open letter to Al Qaeda in the Washington Post and informs them of the CIA Covert Detention centers!

Were is the Outrage by the "Tribunies"? There is none because they don't care! Its all about Mud Slinging... Webster's definitions of Tribune are:

• An officer of ancient Rome elected by the plebeians to protect their rights from arbitrary acts of the patrician magistrates.

Dana Priest's Washington Post leak of the CIA/Pentagon's Classified detention and interogation centers throughout the world.
NYT blows the cover on the secret charter air service used to move Agents and Detainee's around the world for sensitive interrogation. Do they even care about the consequences of making such information pubic? It appears the editors of the New York Times feel that breaking a titillating story about sensitive CIA operations is much more important than national security and the lives of those fighting in the war. All to our detriment.
NYT: Why publish the names of the contractors? Why publish a photograph of one of the planes complete with aviation ID markings? Why publish the home airport for the ‘flagship’ 737-based Boeing Business Jet(s)? Why attack the CIA’s use of these aircraft and the contractors that operate them?

The Devil and Steven York

There's the legend of three young fallen angels that once they were expelled from the realm of God they were hovering over the Universe. Wanting to gain favor with their leader Satan they were brainstorming a strategy for the entrapment and fall of man. They're contemplating the question:

• "How can we trick man into falling from grace thus, increasing the size of our drag net of Souls.
• Yes , yes if we can increase our catch, populate the Abyss we'll certainly move up in rank!
• One says its simple lets just lie and tell them that God does not exist!
• The second says no no that won't work all of Man in their heart of hearts believes and knows that God exist! Lets tell Man that yes God exists but Man is too wicked for God and he is not interested in him!
• The third is listening to this conversation and chimes in very good fellow demons but your thinking is just off by a little. Man knows God is Merciful after Jesus, the second person of the Holy Trinity, toiled on Earth and achieved the gift of Salvation by his Sacrifice on the Cross!
• Lets tell Man that yes there is a God and yes he is loving and merciful but don't worry you've got plenty of Time so have fun and you can always patch things up later!"

Remember the Parable of the foolish Bridesmaids who didn't pack a spare flasks of oil, running out theey missing the cutoff time for the Groom's invitation into the Wedding? The moral of the story is simple keep your eyes open for we do not know the day or the hour when out ticket gets punched! (Mathew 24:42,44).

I can't help but think of Steven York, the University California San Diego pornographic film student, actor, producer, director and star of his own skin flick whose comment to Hugh Hewitt about belief follows:

Another institution maybe not quite as powerful as the California University system but perhaps as influential has a a Steven York like mascot... XM Satellite Radio and its new vulgar scut peddling D.J .Howard Stern. I submit to this Legend of the Demons that a fourth newbie fallen angel has joined the legendary demonic brainstorming session and tweaked the Plan a bit adding a new wrinkle to the Devil's milieu.

• "Lets convince the University Elites that Pornography is Art and is a valuable part of the "Educational Experience" for these young and impressionable mind.
• To stifle this form of expression would be an infringement of the students" First Amendment rights!"

All this reminds me of the great old movie I saw as a kid in my basement in the wee hours of the morning with John Qualen and the late great actor Walter Houston entitled The Devil and Daniel Webster . White Gowns are a Good Thing!

Fort Worth Star Tribune columnist Bobby Ray Sanders levels a White Sheet slander against the fantastically qualified Judge Samuel Alito and other great Bush nominated Judges. They are savaged by his comment: "Get ready for the next nominee, who is likely to be a judge as comfortable in a white robe as a black one." See Radioblogger post, he even takes a racist dig at Hugh Hewitt:

HH: Who on the list of any of the judges that have been named, do you believe would be more comfortable, or as comfortable in a white robe as a black robe?
BRS: I will tell you this. I mean, don't you want somebody comfortable in a white robe?

HH: Absolutely not.
BRS: Oh, you don't. Okay. Do you want somebody that will turn back the clock?

Well lets set the record straight regarding White Robes in the History of the World as opposed to the relatively young colloquial problem in the American South. White Robes and those in White are the Mr. Cleans of the Old and New Testament. The KKK high-jacked the White Robes from Spanish Pilgrims who would dress in White during Holy Week celebrations in Spain. The contemporary white gown with a cone hat costume originated in Spain during the middle ages as part of the Easter Holy Week or Semana Santa tradition. The Penitent or "Nazarenes" are dressed in their baptismal white color and march through the streets of Seville. This tradition and such garments have been used since time immemorial in this Holy Week festival which symbolizes an act of penance. In Spain and former colonies, the pointed hat is called "Capirote" and these Nazarenos (Nazarenes) are a Lay Brotherhood or fraternity members, who walk as a processional entourage and carry candles or insignias outfitted in white tunics, capes and masks. You see, Holy Week or Semana Santa is a religious festival where these white hooded and robed penitents march in long processions followed by huge baroque floats on which sit Images of the Virgin or Christ. Large crowds surround the parade of penitents and celebrate the Salvation of mankind, by Jesus' Passion and Death. The masked marchers represent the penitents or sinners who are sorry for their sins against God and as a result want to hide their faces in shame. This is without a doubt one of the most spectacularly reverant and devout Christian Festivals in the World which honors our Savior!

In the Roman Catholic Church the white garment is donned in Baptism because it is a sign of the glorious resurrection life, unto which men are born again by Baptism; and in order to designate the purity of life, to which he will be bound after being baptized, according to Rm. 6:4: "That we may walk in newness of life."

Furthermore the Holy Spirit has some very impressive things to say about

beings in White Robes!

2 Chronicles 5:12 - Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

Revelation 6:11-12 - And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became BLACK as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Revelation 7:13-14 - And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Because of their nefarious intentions, the KKK have maligned White Robes for all of us God Fearing People and Bobby Ray, "the Big Mouth" columnist perpetuates this treachery!

Bobby Ray Sanders' column needs to be put through the washing machine's soak cycle with extra strength "Clorox" and several dashes of "Shout" as a chaser. Hopefully his newspaper column will be ready for prime time on Judgment Day and he'll be forgiven for maligning "White Robes" and for inflammatory race-bating statement that defames the President Bush's lists of Constructionist Federal Judges! Lets hope that Bobby Ray gets to debut before the Throne of the Almighty in his Lily white TOGA without a mask, for like all of us, he will no longer be ashamed after being washed in the Blood of the Glorious Lamb of God!
