I am was listening online to Hugh Hewitt speaking with Fred and Mort.  Their conversitation ignitied this Brain Storm:  Do you know what is the Ironic thing about the CNN Katrina Styled Journalistic collapse? This category 5 storm is but a microcosm of the entire MSM?  The MSM has failed to live up to their obligations as envisioned by the Founding Fathers.  It highlights the brilliance of the Founding Fathers  for the Fourth Estate is alive and well with the advent of Blogging and the New Media!  We bloggers and Talk Radio have stepped up to the plate to fulfill that which was Envisioned by the FF.  The Public is now informed in spite of the MSM which has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is the Media Wing of the Liberal Democrat Party!  Freedom of the Press is in the Hands of the People.  Ben Franklin never went to Journalism School and he was the best Journalist of his time and jump started journalism.  Rush, Hugh as Commissioner of the Blogosphere their friends have pulled a Ben Franklin!  Congrats America.  Do not let the Fairness Doctrine take Root!

After the news report was shown, Press Secretary Tony Snow accused CNN of "propagandizing" the American public.^[4]. Representative Duncan Hunter, then-chairman of the House Arme Services Committee asked Donald Rumsfeld to remove CNN embedded reporters following the airing of the news report,claiming that "C-N-N has now served as the publicist for an enemy propaganda film featuring the killing of an American soldier."^[5]

Clinton Campaign Announces Launch Of LGBT Americans For Hillary Steering Committee
On the eve of the 38th anniversary of Stonewall, Hillary for President announced the formation of "LGBT Americans for Hillary," a national steering committee of over 65 leaders in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Members of the steering committee include LGBT elected officials, activists from national LGBT and Democratic Party political groups as well as leaders from the worlds of business, entertainment and sports. This leadership committee will work with the campaign on several areas including political outreach, communications, policy advice and counsel, and fundraising.
"I've seen how Hillary Clinton's experience, commitment, and leadership have made a difference for the LGBT community," said New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn. "From her efforts to defeat the Federal Marriage Amendment to standing up for our rights in employment practices, there is no one else in this race who will fight harder for the LGBT community. She's ready to be our next president and I look forward to organizing the LGBT community on her behalf."
The list of supporters on the steering committee demonstrates the history of friendship that Hillary Clinton has had with this community and the depth of her support among LGBT leaders. It includes people like former U.S. Assistant Attorney General Eldie Acheson, who went to college with Hillary Clinton, and Neel Lattimore who worked for her as First Lady as well as film/TV writer and producer Greg Berlanti who met her last week and signed on as a supporter immediately. The list also includes prominent LGBT activists who have been leaders on issues important to the community, including three retired members of the military who have worked to overturn the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, advocates in the fight against HIV/AIDS, and the attorney who argued and won the landmark Supreme Court case, Lawrence v. Texas.
"Her commitment to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and her steadfast work to improve access to care and treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS are just two of the reasons why I support Hillary Clinton for President," said Jose Zuniga, President of the Chicago-based International Association of Physicians in AIDS Care. Zuniga, who attained the rank of Sergeant, was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1993 after coming out as a gay man. He served as a military medic during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and had been named the Sixth US Army's Soldier of the Year six weeks prior to his discharge.
Hillary Clinton has worked to advance the cause of equality for LGBT Americans for many years. As president, Clinton has pledged to end the divisive leadership of the past six years and work with the LGBT community to make sure that all Americans in committed relationships have equal economic benefits and rights. She also will work to end discrimination in adoption laws. As a U.S. Senator, she has worked to expand federal hate crimes legislation and pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, and will sign the legislation into law once she is in the White House. She will also put an end to the failed policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

Already, Hillary for President has been actively reaching out to earn the support of the LGBT community. In March, Clinton addressed the Human Rights Campaign's Board Meeting and Equality Convention -- the only candidate to accept their invitation. Her LGBT supporters have hosted two fundraisers for her campaign, one in Washington, D.C., on May 23, 2007, and one in Los Angeles last Friday. Hillary for President has a full-time staff person, Mark Walsh, solely focused on LGBT outreach.

What an Honor for me on on Friday 2 days prior to Veterans Day. I was met at 9:00am today in my office by an 83 y.o. retired Military Veteran of World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was dressed in his fatigues as earlier this morning @ 6:00am he was drilling the ROTC students at the local University. A healthy, energetic and robust American Army Soldier. He was here for a Carpal Tunnel referral.

He told me he was with the UDT(Under Water Demolition) and was one of the first American Soldiers who landed on Omaha Beach to clear it for D-Day landing four hours prior to the actual landing. In his team there were 15 Americans and 25 British Royal Marines. Of the 40 soldiers only 11 survived and of the Americans him and 3 of his buddies made it out. They had to swim in from a mile out with no weapons only mask, fins, tools and wetsuit no SCUBA gear as it had not be invented yet. He says it was like a duck shooting gallery as they staked out with flags where the land craft could come approach the shore. The UDT went on to become the Navy Seals of Today. As a 19 y.o. enlisted soldier he trained for 3 months at Lido Beach in New York for this Mission.

The Father of Naval Combat Demolition," was directed to set up a school and train people to eliminate obstacles on an enemy-held beach prior to an invasion.
On 6 June 1943, LCDR Kaufmann established Naval Combat Demolition Unit training at Ft. Pierce. By April 1944, a total of 34 NCDUs were deployed to England in preparation for Operation OVERLORD, the amphibious landing at Normandy.

On 6 June 1944, in the face of great adversity, the NCDUs at Omaha Beach managed to blow eight complete gaps and two partial gaps in the German defenses. The NCDUs suffered 31 killed and 60 wounded, a casualty rate of 52%. Meanwhile, the NCDUs at Utah Beach met less intense enemy fire. They cleared 700 yards of beach in two hours, another 900 yards by the afternoon. Casualties at Utah Beach were significantly lighter with 6 killed and 11 wounded. During Operation OVERLORD, not a single demolitioneer was lost to improper handling of explosives.

LCDR Draper Kaufman was summoned to Washington. His tasking was to recruit, train and deploy groups of men (all volunteers, as the Navy's SEAL and SDV Teams are today) who could be deployed in low numbers along an intended beachhead prior to an amphibious assault. These men would be trained to collect, record and interpret valuable hydrographic reconnaissance information about the intended-landing site. This information would include underwater obstacles, enemy positions and strengths, tidal movement, water depths and reef positions. All of this information would have to be quickly and secretly gathered by a small group of unarmed men who would perform their mission right under the noses of enemy gunners….without enemy detection and with a high probability of success and the recovery of reliable information. This information, when provided to Naval Commanders, would allow amphibious assault planning that would result in the most successful and least costly invasion operation. Additionally, this small group of men would also be tasked with returning just prior to the assault to neutralize many of these obstacles with explosives.

There were fences, barriers, barb wire and mines along the beach. During the Korean War he also parachuted into several battles. He had a badge for his exploits during the Korean War and another badge for having served in combat over 30 days straight in Korea. America is Great and Noble because of Men like this American Army Soldier...............He informs me that he counsels Iraqi War Vets and they all say the Media is making their JOB so much harder and they wish the MSM would leave. I guess no Ernie Pyles in the MSM anymore.

Hispanic Intifada.....I am not surprised at all!

I am all of you have heard of New Media, including Laura Ingraham, commenting on this Miami Herald Article "Angry migrant underclass might erupt in U.S."  Indeed disturbing veiled threats about an Intifada but not surprising to this Blogger.  I wrote about this in March 2006 on the Ski Resort as MECHA and Aztlan groups recruited PLO operatives to help them style their subversive and anarchistic desires. This in a nutshell demonstrate the downside of Elites like Pres. • A young Chicano spoke of his association with MECHA and the Azatlan Movement, a Latino organization that advocates reoccupying the western United States by force, if necessary, to create a Latino nation. Azatlan members call themselves "America's Palestinians." He identified himself as homosexual and pointed out that Greenhouse was, too; this seemed relevant to their alliance with the Palestinian cause. Neither acknowledged let alone addressed the fact that gays are brutally persecuted under the Palestinian Authority in contrast to Israel, where they enjoy full civil rights. Many gay Palestinians have actually sought refugee status in Israel, fearing for their lives under the Arafat regime.
• The Legal Foundation for Individual Rights in Education or Fire represented UCSD's school paper, the Koala, in 2002 when it was prosecuted over :
• "a parody of the Hispanic hate group Mecha. The Koala stands charged with "disruption" for "taking photographs" at a Mecha meeting that was open to the public--though in fact the photographer was not a member of The Koala and submitted the photos to the publication after the fact.
  "We condemn The Koala's abuse of the Constitutional guarantees of free expression and disfavor their unconscionable behavior," a FIRE statement quotes Joseph Watson, UCSD's vice chancellor for student affairs, as saying. But FIRE notes that in 1995 Watson "issued an unequivocal defense of the right to free expression." The issue then was an article advocating racist violence against law-enforcement officers, which appeared in Mecha's own publication. It cheered the murder of a Hispanic Immigration and Naturalization Service officer, saying he was a "traitor . . . to his race" and adding: "We're glad this pig died, he deserved to die. . . . The only good one is a dead one."
  It gets even worse. As we noted in March, Mecha is a virulently anti-Semitic organization, which is easily enough confirmed by a visit to the group's own Web site. Yet the university regards the group as somehow representing "diversity." A Web search turned up this 1999 memo to UCSD's chancellor by a self-described piece of furniture (Herbert York, "chair" of the "Diversity Council") urging that "the chancellor should raise new funds and/or allocate existing funds to ensure the effective implementation of the AASU and MEChA high school conferences and recognition ceremonies, respectively." (The AASU is the African American Student Union.)
  Mecha's members are entitled to exercise their First Amendment right of free expression. But they no more deserve university subsidies and moral support--let alone an effort to silence their critics--than would a campus chapter of the Ku Klux Klan.
