A US Marine's Noble Endeavor

This a letter I received from my brother.  This Marine's letter captures the Nobility of an Spirit that exists in the United States of America.  This Spirit saved the World in World War I and World War II.  However in this World War III-IV(Cold War and this the GWOTGlobal War on Terror) or as I prefer to call it the GWOF-Gobal War on Jihad, the Occidental World is uninterested and too fat and lazy to read the Tea Leaves of this Pandemic which will turn on all into Dhimmi.

(the moral obligation of those of high birth, powerful social position, etc., to act with honor, kindliness, generosity, etc.)  

 

 

Yesterday John Kerry said, "You know education, if you make the
most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make
an effort to be smart, you can do well, and if you don't, you get stuck
in Iraq...  So I wrote him a letter:

I am a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. I am
currently on my second tour in Iraq, a tour in which I volunteered for. I speak Arabic
and Spanish and I plan to tackle Persian Farsi soon. I have a Bachelors and an
Associates Degree and between deployments I am pursuing an M.B.A .
In college I was a member of several academic honor societies, including the Golden
Key Honor Society. I am not unique among the enlisted troops. Many of my
enlisted colleagues include lawyers, teachers, mechanics, engineers,
musicians and artists just to name a few. You say that your comments  were
directed towards the President and not us. If we were stupid Senator
Kerry, we might have believed you.

I am not a victim of President Bush. I proudly serve him because
he is  my Commander and Chief. If it was you who was President, I
would serve you just as faithfully. I serve America Senator Kerry, and I am also
providing a service to the good people of Iraq. I have not
terrorized them in the middle of the night, raped them or murdered them as you have accused me of before. I am doing my part to help them rebuild. My role is a simple one, but
important. You see Senator Kerry, like it or not, we came here and removed a
tyrant (who terrorized Iraqis in the middle of the night, and raped them
and murdered them). And we have a responsibility to see to it that
another one doesn't take his place. The people of Iraq are recovering from an abusive
relationship with a terrible government and its going to take
some time to help them recover from that. We can't treat this conflict like a microwave dinner and throw a temper tantrum because we feel like its taking too long.

Senator Kerry, you don't have to agree with this war. You don't
have to say nice things about those of us who choose to make
sacrifices for the rights of every American rather than sit back and simply feel
entitled to it. But please Senator Kerry, if you're going to call me a stupid
murdering rapist, stick by what you say. Don't tell me that I misunderstood or
that you would never insult a veteran because you are one too. Having been there and
done that does not give you a free pass to insult me. My suggestion for you,
Senator Kerry, is to remember that your speeches are
recorded, and broadcast to us simpletons over here. You may want
to write down what you want to say before you say it, maybe have
somebody look at it before you say it and tell you what others might hear.
Remember that we can't read your mind, if there are any misinterpretations in what
you say, it's because you didn't communicate clearly.

Good luck to you Senator Kerry, if nothing else it's always
entertaining to watch you try and climb out of the holes that you
constantly dig for yourself.
Sincerely, Somebody who is watching his daughter grow up in
photographs so that you can have the right to say whatever you want about him...

"Good Intentions" and the Iraq Study Group

"Good intentions" from my last post should have but it in quotes to signify I meant it to be tongue in cheek!  These "do gooders" are either clueless or much worse.  They make me think Cicero who said "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. The Fifth Column is a clandestine group or faction of subversive agents who attempt to undermine a nation's solidarity by any means at their disposal. The term is credited to Emilio Mola Vidal, a Nationalist general during the Spanish Civil War (1936–39). As four of his army columns moved on Madrid, the general referred to his militant supporters within the capital as his “fifth column!”

The Vietnam Stealth Group aka Iraq Study Group

Question to members of the GOP running for leadship positions in the party of Ronald Reagan!

What do you think about an alternative to the UN?  The UN is anti-American & anti-Democracy.  The Liberals like John Kerry & its PR Wing the MSM would like to weaken the US Military by pulling a Cronkite again and poving that "War is not the Answer" because they've succeed in making Iraq like Vietnam a failure(Thanks to Cronkite's lie about the TET offensive).  This Strategic Play from the 1960's Liberal Playbook will weakend the Military and additionally Liberals will only want the US Military to act on behalf of UN Sactioned Activites.

The Iraq lets Study "how we lost Vietnam" Group

Big Win for the Democrats and the MSM! These kind of People have a hidden agenda which entalls "proving that WAR is not the Answer"! Iraq Study Group is a code for Stealth Vietnam exit stage right retreat strategy

I'm afraid that Bill Bennett may be right about the the Iraq "Stealth Vietnam" Exit Stage right Group!  He was the lone voice that predicticed this may be a problem beginning 2 weeks ago.  I wish he would have been wrong then and I wish him to be wrong now, but I dont think so.   The Bush Administration should have let Rumy kick butt while the IRON was hot.  The window of Opportunity is Gone and This will be a LOSS on the Scale of Vietnam!  Not in the number of American soldiers deaths but because we will pull out ala Nam and Radicas will take over and control the 2nd largest Oil Reserve in the World.  The President had good intentions and played hardball but he needed to be more like Truman and Close the DEAL.  He did not give Rumy the slack he needed and instead has thrown him under the BUS.  I'm disappointed in Dubya because he had the chance to be one of the Great Presidents but he Choked in a Sudden Death Overtime situation and the Cronkite Media has won again.  He will go down as a Lyndon Johnson and he'll be fried like Nixon was.  Too Bad for my daughter and all of her generation.  The Jidhadist have won this round!

While the terror leaders each independently urged American citizens to vote for Democratic candidates, not all believed the Democrats would actually carry out a withdrawal from Iraq.

 

Saadi stated, "Unfortunately I think those who are speaking about a withdrawal will not do so when they are in power and these promises will remain electoral slogans. It is not enough to withdraw from Iraq. They must withdraw from Afghanistan and from every Arab and Muslim land they occupy or have bases."

 

He called both Democrats and Republicans "agents of the Zionist lobby in the US."

 

Abu Abdullah commented once Democrats are in power "the question is whether such a courageous leadership can (withdraw). I am afraid that even after the American people will elect those who promise to leave Iraq, the US will not do so. I tell the American people vote for withdrawal. Abandon Israel if you want to save America. Now will this Happen? I do not believe it."

 

Still Jihad Jaara said the alternative is better than Bush's party.

 

"Bush is a sick person, an alcoholic person that has no control of what is going on around him. Happy Birthday US Marines and Cheers on Veterans' Day

Happy BIRTHDAY to the United States Marine Corps which were formed as the Continental Marines of the American Revolutionary War on November 10 1775. It is said that at the Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this GREAT Military Institution was created by a resolution of the Continental Congress. The Marines' most famous action of this period occurred during the First Barbary War (1801-1805) because the Muslims were attacking American Ships looting them and making American Sailors SLAVES! In March of 1805 Captain William Eaton(HT: Thomas Jewett) and First Lieutenant Presley O'Bannon led 8 Marines, a midshipmen by the name of Pascal Paoli Peckand, and about 600 men were mostly Arabs and Levantine brigands, with some Greeks and other European soldiers of fortune or mercenaries in an effort to capture Tripoli Libyia after the Barbary Pirates comandeered the American Vessel the Philadelphia. This handful of men undertook this incredible adventure recalled today in the Marine Corps Hymn and Mameluke sword carried by Marine officers needs to be REMEMBERED on the Marines Birthday!

Four months prior to this invasion in December 1804 our Midshipman and Marines under Captain Edward Preble and Lieutenant Stephen Decatur at night set captured American Warship Philidelphia, which ran aground and was captured, ablaze so the Muslims could not use it.

Dingle lingle dingle ling to the GOP!  I think Conservatives are generally disaffected because our Representatives have not performed to our expectations.  Santorum is being groomed by Providence for something BIGGER.  Dems saw Ned Lame as Puppet for the Radical Left and went with a known quantity, a Scoop Jacksonian like Lieberman.  That is good but how much will it matter. 

 

President Bush needs to let the Military do its thing and win this war or the Democratic Vietnamization Play from there 1960/70's strategy will win trumping the GOP with the help of their have their accomplices in Cronkite's Progeny.

 

He only has his legacy to fight for and to keep Mrs. Bill Clinton from marching to the White because Iraq goes the way of Vietnam.  How can he with a Democratic Controlled House?  Did he miss his oppportunity to take Mullah Muqtada Sadr and when he pulled bck on Fallujah? John F. Kennedy who started the Noble fight didn't get blamed by Historians for its failure but Dubya will.  The Iraq War needs to end with an Accent on Victory.  The President has no choice but to win for losing will sweep the GOP out of the Oval Office for 08 and perhaps beyond.  The key is to win in Iraq otherwise the Jihadist get a General Giap TKO!   Can it be done with a Democrats in Power on the Hill?...

Senator Elect Sherrod Brown and Mansfield Ohio Politics

I could not figure out why a Sherrod Brown who went to Mansfield Malabar with my older brother in the 1970's and friend of my family in the early years, with so much talent and potential could turn out to be so wrong!  Turns out his father who was a Republican and good friends with Dr. Yubero Sr., my Dad, influence took a back row to his mother's.  According to this article it was his mother's influence, who was a bit of political activist.  The Brown family of Mansfield Ohio, the home of my youth were true standouts! Furthermore I agree with Laura Ingraham who was a guest on Hugh Hewitt show.  She is right, DeWine just did not have the X-factor that Senator Elect Sherrod Brown has and Hugh Hewitt is right about DeWine's gang of 14 fallout.

• Part of the reason for all of the rancor in the early stages of the primary is that the eventual opponent, two-term Senator Mike DeWine, seems so tantalizingly beatable. Survey USA ranks DeWine in 97th place among senators, with a 45 percent approval rating. In June, DeWine’s own party’s voters offered him a stinging rebuke, when his son Pat finished fourth in the Republican primary for the special election for Ohio’s 2nd District. Many observers viewed this as fallout from the base’s anger at DeWine for his role in the so-called Gang of 14, who stopped the GOP from carrying out its threat to use the “nuclear option” to get rid of the filibuster.

Additionally the Govenor Bob Taft scandel has left a bad tast in the mouths of Ohioans who elected Taft in 1990 to Secretary of State and put the 2 term incumbant Secretary of State S. Brown out of office.  To me this also smacks of pay back from disgruntled voters for Repubican Taft garbage. 

 

Lets pray for Sherrod to have a conversion back to his father's Genetics!... Prayer is the answer because even if we lose seats it is good to remember that "God writes straight with crooked lines!"  The GOP needs to realize that we conservatives are a bit disaffected by our Representatives' linguine spines(DeWine was not conservative enough and he paid for it).  They need to get back to the Moral Roots of the Party and stop the gang of 14 renegade stuff and fight for what Conservative voters want and that is just the basics like the 10 Commandments type issues.  Hugh Hewitt, another Ohioan had a Great Show and thanks to him for his tireless efforts!

Sherrod graduated and moved back home, where his father, a Republican, was initially skeptical. “My dad says, ‘I’m not voting for you, you’re too young,’” says Sherrod. “But he helped a lot.” Mrs. Brown recruited neighborhood kids to lick stamps and stuff envelopes in the basement of their house, and Charles spent nearly the whole semester in Mansfield running the campaign. By the time the election rolled around, Sherrod had knocked on 20,000 doors, nearly half the households in the district. In a stunning upset, he beat the Republican incumbent. She never saw it coming.

Born to run

Sherrod Brown was born in Mansfield, Ohio in 1952, the youngest of three sons. His father Charles was a physician. His mother Emily hailed from Georgia and was an early supporter of the civil rights movement, introducing her boys to political activism at an young age. Sherrod was elected president of his high school student council. “He caused people a lot of headaches because he was such an activist,” says his mother. “The principal didn’t really care for him at all.”

In 1970, he and his friends organized a march in Mansfield for the first Earth Day. “We did this really cool march and we had a really big crowd,” says Brown with pride. “But we get down to the square and none of us had thought about what you do when you get down there. We didn’t have any speakers, and it was like, ‘Oh, shit.’ So we just disbanded.”

Brown enrolled at Yale, where he split his time between Russian Studies and campaign work for liberal candidates, including George McGovern. He so impressed Don Kindt, his local Democratic County Chairman, that the next spring, when Brown was back at Yale finishing up his senior year, Kindt called Brown and asked him to run for state representative. “I remember him calling me,” says Sherrod’s older brother Charles, who was in Yale Law School at the time. “‘You just can’t believe this, this is the most exciting news. Don Kindt wants me to run!’”

Who is Smarter the President or the Senator

Comments on the Jurassic Media's attempt to be the Flying Buttress for John Kerry that need considering:

1. President Bush is an "Idiot" per GPA 2.0 Kerry's Newsweek article right? Then how can an "Idiot" like the President know what an allegedly smart man like Kerry meant to say. Everyone is suppose to decipher what Dees Kerry meant right? I decipher then from the logorrheic Senator that President Bush is not such an "Idiot" because per Kerry he knew what Kerry's cryptic message meant!
2. Additionally Kerry claims that the President was using his "botched" statement and misinterpretation of what he say to the GOP's advantage. Well if that is true, the President would be an "Idiot" to not take advantage of such a grapefruit type pitch? Wouldn't Kerry use such a "stupidly" written/delivered statement to his advantage? Yes he would because all is fair in Love, War and Politics!

Conclusion: Both of Senator's GPA 2.0 Kerry's assertions about President Bush when decrypted clearly reveals that President Bush is not an "Idiot" and clearly more intelligent than John D's Kerry! John Labovitz and another young lawyer, just 26 years old with the ink barely dry on her Yale law degree, began the arduous task of poring over constitutional archives. Labovitz's partner was Hillary Diane Rodham.

The team Coached by Bill Fitch and which was made up of rejects from other teams that made other expansion teams look good. Was it the fact that the Cavs had to play their first 7 games on the road as the Cleveland Arena had been booked by the Ice Capades. The Cavaliers dropped all 7 games by an average of 17.3 points per game, including their debut a 107-92 loss to their expansion partner Buffalo Braves on October 14th. When the Cavs made their home debut on October 28th against the San Diego Rockets the losses continued, as they ended up losing their first 15 games before beating the Trailblazers in Portland 105-103 on November 12th. The Cavaliers would go on to finish in dead last with an awful record of 15-67.

A fourth-quarter field goal by Don Cockroft in the final game against the Cincinnati Bengals helped the Browns capture the division with an 11-5 mark, with the Oakland Raiders their opponent in the team's first playoff game in eight years.
